Just came across this topic in google - I'm having the same issues with start and stop.
Citroen claims that I have to switch it off each time I start the car and there's no way to make my preference permanent. What a joke it literally takes almost no memory to save it. Such an annoyance.
Has anyone managed to fix this? I've updated the software & maps but it doesn't work.

@Manikata: This has nothing to do with this thread on Air conditioning / Climate Control settings not saving!
I would of suggested you create a new topic rather than hijack this thread as it's a separate system and not relevant, however there is a simple answer and that is you cannot disable Stop Start - except as the start of each journey - simple as that, the dealer is correct and it is by design to meet the emissions certification.
Hi
I have had my C3 Aircross about 3 weeks, noticed it was doing the 21 degrees fan issue, and massive thanks to you guys I found this forum. Our car is a model from 2022 so seems to fall into this category. I have taken it to our local Jersey dealer who initially ‘fobbed me off’ but I showed them the data you guys had found and the fact you are getting screens replaced so they are pursuing this further. It was great to take in a print off with the specific model numbers and the diagnostic from citroen. They are saying they haven’t had a notice about this fault and interestingly when they have looked at their new C5s in the showroom they are doing exactly the same thing, which is why I think they thought it was a normal setting. Lovely car otherwise so hopefully we can get this resolved speedily. once again massive thank you to those who have endured the nonsense and have done the hard work to push to get it sorted. The internet works!,

They simply needed to check their Citroen technical diagnostic data which as a dealer, they must have! Once they have the VIN, check under the Audio and Telematics section and under diagnostics, they will see a list of issues and this one in particular is clearly listed as I have stated in an earlier post.
It was picked up in France first and was initially for left hand drive vehicles, but after by pursuing the matter here for affected RHD vehicles, now armed with the French TSB, they realised it was an issue with those particular display screens, regardless of the Country, so have now started replacing them - but they won't recall vehicles for this - the customer has to complain about it. But at least you can't be fobbed off with the 'that's how it works' rubbish - as they have now published the technical service bulletin detailing the fault.
I have been irritatated by this for 7months and found no help on the internet.
But I HAVE just worked out how to do it.
You have to ignition on but not engine run. I.e press start with foot NOT on the brake.
Now set your blow temp, speed and Auto start/stop if that one annoys you aswell like me.
Now turn ignition off.
Now Ignition on with engine aswell i.e foot on the brake.
You should now see your settings have saved and you no longer need to swear at it as you turn them all off again.
Your Welcome
Thank you so much for the information on the TSB re Citroen at last recognising the fault on the aircon settings not being saved; the Citroen garage we bought the car from didn’t want to know but referred me to a Citroen garage that deals with warranty issues and I am on the list to have the touch screen replaced. Like many others it might be a while as it’s on back order…. But wonderful news that I can get the fault sorted
