I bought some ebay mudflaps suitable for c3 aircross £16, thought I would fit to try to reduce rear window getting dirty. Anyway tried to fit to front had to cut away bottom area of mudflap then used original T15 screw but added another two looked good.
Rear mudflaps were slightly longer in depth fitted fine managed to fit using original two screws plus one more.
Final assessment, rear mudflaps not covering outside of tyre, could have been a little wider but otherwise pleased just need some rain to test.

I have just fitted some ebay mudflaps to our 2022 C5 Aircross and the rear ones are also not covering the outside of the tyre. I thought they were genuine when I purchased them, but they were not. Does anyone know if the genuine rears also do not cover the outside of the rear tyres?

There are no official mud flaps showing (front or rear) on official accessories for the C5 Aircross.

As Juan says there are no mudflaps showing for the latest C5 models. My local Citroen spares department manager took some time looking in to this for me. He concluded that the mudflaps for the earlier model would fit but would probably need some drilling and for the rear wheels to come off so at close to £100 for a set of four I decided to pass on that one. No idea if they would have fully covered the rear wheels as I never got that far.

Just to add, they are not even showing any (as in the option is now totally greyed out) for any model of C5 Aircross, old or new, so whether there was an issue I can't say, so that's why the dealer can't order them either.

Also, in that link, you can't order them either - looks like not available / out of stock.

Hi everyone. I fitted my front & rear mudflaps a year ago. They were bought from citroendirectparts.co.uk but were also available from my local Citroen dealership. They are genuine Citroen parts and work perfectly. I have no idea if or why they are not available right now though?

Hi! Kevin B - Did you fit them yourself. If so was any drilling involved - Did you have to remove the rear wheels. I have previously fitted mudflaps to a Jeep Renegade and Hyundai Tucson but the gap between the bumper trim and the rear tyres looks very tight on my wife's new C5 Aircross 136 Hybrid.

Hi Ohio Dan.
Yes, I did fit them myself as to be honest, I believed I could do a better job and was concerned the final look would be good.
I am adamant I will only fit genuine Citroen parts to maintain the integrity of the car, but bear in mind that comes with a cost!
There is drilling involved but as long as you’re careful this isn’t a problem at all.
Part of me being careful meant even if I could have done the job without taking the wheels off I probably would have anyway to make sure I had enough room to work.
I have digitised copies of the official fitting instructions if you need them.. Kev

Thank you Kev, that was most helpful. Would you mind sending me a digitised copy of fitting instruction pls? Also, do you have a photo taken from rear of car showing whether the outside of mudflaps are parallel with the outside of tyre. From photo taken at an angle, they appear to be. Thanks, John
