Connected services activated but not available

Hi All,

New here and have read lots of similar posts (and tried everything mentioned, including updating the software) but nothing as exact as this...

The connected services on my 3 month old C5 Aircross worked fine up until 1 month ago, now I get the message 'Status of connected services : Available' but 'Availablity of connected services : Not Available'. This is not a blackspot issue as have driven all over the country and it has never become available.

I did try connecting to my phone hotspot once and services did then become available for a while, but now that does not seem to work either. But I don't want to have to connect to my hotspot as this should work on it's own.

The Citroen Assist and SOS buttons do not appear to be working either - from what I read this is probably connected. The SOS button does turn green when i turn the vehicle on, then goes red and then off.

Has anyone got any helpful ideas? Perhaps there is an issue with the onboard modem? Could anybody offer any advice?

I have got the vehicle booked in with a dealer in 2 weeks (not Stallantis who I bought it from, but Bristol St as they are more local) but they can't tell me whether this will be convered under warranty at this stage. So would like to get to the bottom of it before they charge me £120 to not fix it!!

Hi and welcome atoone.
From how you described the issue I think you could well be correct about the onboard modem being faulty.
If all the different network settings are configured correctly it has to be that surely?
I can't see how a dealer would pass the buck on this either.. hopefully you'll get this sorted soon. Best wishes.

I have the same issue, the car is 3 months old.

It was working up until a few weeks ago, so interested in what they say your problem is.

December is a bit busy so will book it in to be looked at after Christmas.
