Living in France ,I have just read the info on the new C3 Aircross out next year.
The new models petrol and petrol/ hybrid 1.2 puretec no longer have the wet belt and a chain instead .....hurrah!!
Hope this is more reliable but who knows.
Cheers Pid.
New C3 Aircross 2025.
No wonder my local Citroen dealer just offered me a new aircross for £18,995, bet they will be glad to get rid of old wet belt types.

Be advised the C3 Aircross as we know it will be discontinued next year.
The e-C3 above has finally made it's way to these shores above - but my local dealership only has a left hand drive model on display! So that tells you how behind they are on this model on getting it out to market - should of been available February this year.
As for the replacement, these will be based on the C3 architecture - so I believe smaller dimensions than the current C3 AIrcross.
Diesel engines have been dumped unfortunately, so only Petrol, Hybrid (non-chargeable) and Fully Electric versions are on offer. These will be available in a 5 and 7 seater - but the dimensions remain the same. The row 3 seats are fold-away type.
The biggest improvement will be in the changes to the 3 cylinder petrol engines versions which will incorporate timing chains, not belts! So that will be good news. But best of all, the Citroen Hydraulic Progressive Cushions Advanced suspension will be coming to all the new C3 SUV models, so much better ride over the current bone-shaker suspension offered.
