Hi to everyone. C3 aircross 2020.
A few days now i get an error that parking assistanse has fault and it turns automatically to off..
I am not sure if this problem was before or after washing the car.
It is 3 days now. When i turn parking assistance to on it goes instantly to off and ofcourse it does not work all around the car. The camera in the back is working but with no voice.
Any ideas or solutions before visiting the dealer?

Any fault with the parking assistance and it will disable the whole system. Ideally it needs a diagnostic to determine which part of the system it's not happy with. Usually, it's a sensor, and if you have had this problem since washing the car, it's possible you have got some water into one of the wires at the back of the sensor. These are very sensitive and you should not point a pressure washer directly at any of the sensors or use it too close.
You may need to wait for a few days to allow time for it to dry out and see if this resolves the problem.

I went to a diagnostic. It shows fault to all the sensors. Not just one. So i book a visit to a dealer in 2 weeks..Juan Sheet wrote: ↑Mon Oct 21, 2024 6:13 pm Any fault with the parking assistance and it will disable the whole system. If ALL sensors are showing faulty, then it may be the Parking assistance ECU. Have you had water or liquid spillage in the boot? Have you spliced into any wiring?
If not, then the dealer should be able to advise after checking the basics like fuses and the connections to the unit.
