Forum Grinding to a Halt

For the last few days the Forum has been crawling at worse than a snail's pace.

Posts are taking an age to edit and submit and then are not reflecting posts. Issues loading, with 'Site Downloaders' reporting the server is up and down like a yo yo.

It's becoming unusable in its current state. Can someone take a look at the cache or server?

E.g.: 23 seconds to submit this post
11 seconds to reopen it for this edit!
