C3 Aircross does not show CarPlay logo

Hi all,

I just bought a C3 Aircross, I thought it had Apple CarPlay, but when I turn the engine on and connect my phone via usb cable, the Apple CarPlay logo does not show up, not even greyed out. I was wondering if there is anyway of getting the CarPlay working, using Waze on that screen would be awesome.

I bought a dongle to use and it works perfect and it's wireless
