Has C5 got ABS?

I have C5 hybrid Aircross 2023 and in the 9 months I had it I noticed I've skidded to a halt about 4 times, and it's only since I skidded about 2 weeks ago in thinking it's been 20 since I've skidded, because ABS stops that happening. I also noticed the absence of the ABS pedal judder. I have no warning lights around ABS. I'm wondering whether it's switched off in the settings somewhere?

Should have I thought it was an EU safety item.
The sensors are used for tyre pressure system too

As far as I am aware you cannot switch it off.

I’m only guessing but ABS usually doesn’t work under a certain speed, the CPU “switches it off” usually about 5 mph. It has to do this otherwise it wouldn’t allow you to come to a complete stop. So in theory you can skid at these very low speeds.

The fact your not getting any warning lights suggests it’s working correctly.

Cool. That explains it. It always happened at low speed like when im manoeuvring out of a space and then spotted a car (or a cat :) coming

I did read the book and it doesn't mention this. Thanks!
