2023 Citroen C3 1.5BlueHDi Shine Plus questions

Hi,

Please be gentle, this is my first time owning a Citroen.

Got myself a 2023 Citroen C3 1.5BlueHDi Shine Plus recently after having a 2008 Ford Focus for YEARS and running it into the ground
The C3 seems like a lovely little car (drives great) and I have loads of things I need to learn about it

Quick question though - the 'start/stop engine economy' thingy, I've turned this off from the car settings but a couple of times it has reactivated itself when I have started the car the next day. Is it something I'm doing? Is there a way to turn this off more permanently? Also, the other night I drove to the shops, parked up, got out of the car and locked up. Thing is, the back brake light stayed on. Anyone have any idea what this could be?

Hi welcome to the world of C3 Aircross.
The stop start defaults back on every time you turn the ignition off and then back on.
It will not operate if certain parameters are not met. Battery voltage low. Eng temp low.
It takes getting use to but is ok once you do.
The rear side light and front side lights will stay on , when you park up, IF the indicator stalk is left in turn right or turn left. These are parking lights.
