Could somebody please confirm the definitive service intervals for my 2019 C5 Aircross 1.5 Blue HDi Flair Plus Automatic. I have had the car for 10 months and I imagine it will be due a service in a couple of months time. I would like to know exactly when so I can book it in for a service.
Thanks.

Whichever comes first, yearly as a minimum or the specified mileage, which I can't provide you with unless you supply your VIN number.

Ok, so every year or every 20k miles - whichever is soonest.

Thanks Juan. That seems a bit strange, I would have expected 12,000 miles or 1 year, or 20,000 miles or 2 years! However...

No, it's all annual servicing now as a minimum, so be aware if you want to maintain warranty.
hello my car is CITROEN C5 AIRCROSS DIESEL HATCHBACK 1.5 BlueHDi 130 Flair Plus 5dr EAT8, RED, VIN: VR7ACYHZRLL023085Juan Sheet wrote: ↑Mon Apr 29, 2024 11:58 am No, it's all annual servicing now as a minimum, so be aware if you want to maintain warranty.
I kindly ask you to check the service interval of my car. My car gave a service warning after 6000 miles. Should I take it to the service at 20 thousand miles to continue the RAC warranty I had on my car? I am thinking of changing the oil and filters every 6 thousand miles myself during this process. If I take it to the service at 20 thousand miles or once a year, can I keep the warranty?

I'm not sure where thi 20,000 miles has come from. My first C4 Picasso 2.0HDi had a 20,000 miles or 2 years interval. I traded it in with 39,995 miles and it was due a service when it went in. I saw it once locally after that, and a few month later I saw it in once of the local agents with a sign in it saying ' do not start, engine noise' or similar. Probably due to following manufacturers excessive interval.
My next car was a 2.0 HDi and the interval had changed (can't remember whether it was 12,500 or 16,000) but the time had gone down to 1 year.
I would certainly avoid going beyond 12,500 miles or 2 years, particularly if there is a warranty involved.

I have mine serviced at a a Citroen dealership and via a Carco Service Plan set up with the dealership.
I have the vehicle serviced at the same time as the MOT being due. The service intervals they work to are 18,750 miles or 12 months whichever comes earlier.
At the service date they set the service indicator to reflect this and as I do around 11,500 miles per year it seems to work for me. Hope this helps..

Officially, 20k miles or yearly is correct for this engine variant (DV5RC) according to your VIN.
