Well, having seen a few questions on this and expecting a nightmare, I got it done quite easily. I got the link for the download off the my citroen app, formatted a sandisk 32gb usb 3 memory stick to fat32. I plugged the stick in the pc and the download failed me twice before i removed the usb stick and then downloaded it, i was then allowed to download the full files and when downloaded it asked me to insert the usb stick. It was then a case of following the instructions and the software was automatically installed onto the usb stick.
This left two folder on the usb stick which were license and SWL. there was no renaming of files and no unzipping of files. i then started the car, switched off stop start, plugged in the usb stick and followed the instructions. No dramas at all. Hope this helps somebody.

Hi nickyboy.4
Same as my experience's so far too.
One thing worth noting is that because the process on the PC is lengthy, it only went seamlessly once I'd stopped the PC from going into snooze mode.
The first couple of attempts before this failed because when the PC went into snooze mode essentially the download paused at that point.
Stopping the PC from sleeping made all the difference! Regards Kev

I've also been trying to download the updates, I've got to the point three times now where it says download complete, but then when I try to go to the next screen I get an error message. The download folder shows a zipped file, would it work if I transferred it from there to USB?

I really need to load this update into my car, as the sat nav has decided it cannot find any location at all when I try and search

No. Files must be extracted to the USB without any additional files (except for firmware updates where a licence file will be required if the vehicle does not have on-board WiFi)
