Hi all I haven't noticed any better economy in Eco mode yet either with our C5 auto petrol
So far with 1285kms on the clock we have an economy of 7.5L per 100kms which is very disappointing as the driving we have been doing can be definitely considered combined which Citroen claim for our model to be 5.7L per 100kms!
What economy are others getting compared to manufacturers claims?
C5 eco mode
Hi, Living in the Eifel, average 7.2l km.

I've a diesel Auto and what I've found, apart from more sluggish throttle response and changing up sooner, is it will free wheel more.
Hi everyone as I said above I bought a New Citroen C5 Aircross with the 1.6 Hybrid engine. Over the last 8 weeks my range of my Hybrid battery has fallen to 13 miles. Since new it’s only had 24 miles total range after a full charge .
I’ve been told that if I put the Aircross into eco mode that it may increase my range of my battery as 13 miles is over 50% less than Citroen state it’s should be doing.
I’ve looked everywhere for the ECO button. All I get on the mode selection switch is Sports , Hybrid and Electric. My Paddle Gear selection Had DRIVE, Drive B, Reverse And Park and Nothing else. Where is the ECO switch as I’m pulling my hair out now. Any Suggestions please.

Its more noticeable on A roads rather than motorways. You can see the difference if you watch rev counter when you lift off throttle, the revs will drop to tick-over in Eco mode where in normal the engine keeps revs up a bit higher.
You almost coast sometimes as it feels like you loose engine breaking.
I think somewhere I read in manual it also saves wear on gearbox.
However I've yet to notice any difference in fuel consumption.
