I mounted aftermarket ones (from Amazon) yesterday. They look like the ones on the pictures in this thread.

Front is mounted easily without having to detach the wheels.
For the back you need to remove the wheels in order to have access / space.

I guess I would recommend putting some transparent layer / tape between the mud flaps and the surface of the car as it is plain plastic on plain plastic which might cause scratches that get visible once you every remove the mud flaps.

Can't comment yet on how much dirt they keep away.
I don't think they cause any additional fuel consumption based on their size and how the rest of the cars chassis is formed.

This is the amount of dirt I still get on the car with the mud flips installed at the front.
I hoped for less spray/dirt. Although, to be fair, this could also be dirt from the cars beside me (driving on the highway).

rear bumper protector ( sticks to top of bumper ) is a life saver even universal ones now look good especially when loading dogs, bicycles, trips to dump and loading shopping.

I went ahead and ordered official rubber mat set for the car...... easier to clean than carpet mats

I have a full set of unused mud flaps, front and rear for C5 Aircross from my ownership in past. Anyone can pm me and we can exchange evidence photos.

Hi JohnM52

Are you saying these mudflaps are for sale...?

If so, I'm interested.

My C5 is white and I'd like to keep it that way...!
