Hi,
First post here and straight in with a question.
My mum is looking for a small car, high seating position, and a torque converter auto box. I've had a good look around and it seems the C3 Aircross is the best bet.
She's happy to spend about £10-12K, so I think that would be a 2018-2020 model. I'm looking at the Flair packs, which most seem to be anyway, for the reversing camera among other things.
Is there anything too look out for in particular? I noticed a few are around the 60k mile range, is there a big service item due around that time?
Thanks.
Buying a 2018-2020 C3 Aircross, anything to look out for?

This means that she'll have to have a petrol as the Auto boxes were / are only available on the 130 BHP 1.2 Petrol models.
That being the case and choice, these have a 'belt in oil' system for the timing belt and most of these need it replaced initially at about 62k miles. Annual servicing is critical on these as is the oil specification.

When you find one, make sure it has a fully stamped service record. I'd buy from a dealer as it should have a warranty.
I am on my second C3 Aircross the first was a Flair this one is a Shine Plus. Both were the 1.2 litre engine with 130 bhp.
The torque converter gearbox EAT6 is excellent. It has a snow mode and sports mode. I would think the normal full automatic mode would be best for your mum. It has manual mode too but too be honest I leave mine in Auto.
Mine averages 40 mpg in mainly urban driving.

Read this, something Beanee mentions very important.
Make sure you get the 110bhp not the underpowered 82 bhp.
Also check you have a spare wheel.
