Thanks to this forum I wouldn't have been known about the problem. The dealer hadn't been aware of this particular fault, but as a result of me mentioning it they discovered that a TSB had been issued.
Just contacted our dealer again and says not showing as any stock available hopefully middle of June parts will become available :(

Just contacted another dealer in parts and mentioned two types of screen one is available and one is on back order...

will just have to wait...

You won't get one any quicker from choosing another dealer, as all the parts are ordered in centrally from France on the distribution network. These are not stock items and the screen has to be the correct version for the system installed.

Yes, they will know from your VIN which they can get from your registration. The VIN will have all your factory-fitted options and equipment as well as all the vehicle details as it left the factory.

Update done today @ Evans Halshaw in Rotherham. All good and temperature settings maintained after switching off. Interestingly the TSB stated the time allowance for fitting was 0.5Hr. I reckon it would longer than that!

It's decimalised, so that's probably 30 minutes which is about right to replace it. I've done it in less than 10 minutes, as there's no programming or configuring of the Touchscreen, it's only the Telematic Head Unit itself that needs this.

Well, well, well ...... I'm NOT going mad

I genuinely thought it was just me not doing something right on my Aircross climate control screen and haven't been able to figure out why it keeps defaulting back to 21' and half power. It's just not fun is it when it's really warm outside and you turn the car on , only to be blasted with warm air that you have to take down a few notches every single time.

Anyway, I have had a couple of visits to the dealership and I've had two sales guys (I'm an intelligent 56 yr old woman) show me how to change it in the 6 months since I've had my car. But because they 'reset' it so quickly, and with a slight of hand I'm sure, it looks like they've fixed it. Apparently it's "really simple" so I should be ok.

Thank you soooooo much all of you fellow C3 Aircross owners who are having the same problem and done the research and leg work, you have given me so much information and tomorrow morning I shall be visiting the dealership armed with the information I have gathered form here and let them know I'm not moving until they order me a new screen.

The stress, all be it a First World problem, is real .

Thank you all again.
