I've took the side panel off were the toggle switch is for the auto gears and all the wires run down in there for the speakers. Me I jumped in with a 4 channel amp and hay presto much louder but the speakers in the doors ain't that great so looking to change them next. Hope this helps. Oh I also run a 4000 amp and subwoofer as I love to feel the music as well as listen.
Hi mate, I'm loving the idea of adding an amp and a sub..! Could you tell me what amp and sub you went for and how and where you installed them?

Best regards, Fergal
Hi sorry just seen your message feral I did all the work myself. That's what I used to do for a living plus mechanic. Once you've got your power wire all run into the car it's all hands on quite a bit of fiddly work but oh do well worth it.
No worries, thanks for coming back to me. I've a buddy that could do the install. What amp and sub would you recommend or what did you use?

I performed the software update on my C3 Aircross.
On my first road trip after doing that the sound system was terrible. Before it was good.
So I looked at the settings and the sound system had reverted to factory settings.
The balance was set at zero zero which is between the front seats but slightly behind the back rests.
So I adjusted that to effectively just at the touch screen.
Then I adjust the equaliser to give what I wanted in that department.
Ok again now.
