I have a 2022 C5 Aircross. I have many intermittent problems with the internet connectivity. Often whilst on a drive I notice I lose TomTom drive from the Nav. It switches to TMC and will not come back. When this happens I notice the connectivity shows no internet connection. I have to stop, turn engine off, lock them unlock car. Restart engine. Then internet connection returns and TomTom drive is back.
Also am often finding (especially cold days), I cannot start a remote Climate session to warm car. I have it plugged in and power on. It takes an ages to return saying car not connected to network.

Today I have found that I couldn't start the climate session. Car had again showed no internet connection. Driven to different areas and still shows no internet connection.

Dealers have looked at, perform a software update only last week. Yet still having these issues.

I checked all mobile networks in the areas I have been, no issues shown.

Anyone else have similar issues or advice? Very frustrated with this.

I have exactly same problems. Remote heating and charging never worked since new and Tom Tom randomly stops. Very frustrating and still waiting Citroen response to my case they raised.

Dealers had it in last week, it finally failed whilst they had it, so were able to collect diagnostics for Citroen tech services. Now await the tech team to advise on resolution. The dealers said they had another vehicle exhibiting the same symptoms, so hopefully they got info from that vehicle too.

It may well be the telematics unit - the internal telematic battery issue or the unit itself.

I would have hoped dealers would have checked this. Strange thing, at times the remote pre-conditioned would sometimes work, but the Satnav and internet connectivity still said no Internet. Currently nothing works, when I goto connectivity it spins for ages, then says it cannot load the apps. Different to the previous error that said no internet connectivity.

Hi,

It sounds like you're dealing with some frustrating connectivity issues, especially with the TomTom navigation and remote climate control. Since the dealers performed a software update but the problem persists, it might be worth exploring a few other possibilities:

1. Connectivity Module: There could be an issue with the car’s connectivity module. This is responsible for connecting to the network, and a malfunction here might explain the intermittent loss of connection. It might be worth having this checked out again, especially if it wasn’t addressed during the software update.

2. Network Settings: Sometimes, the settings related to the mobile data or Wi-Fi connection could be the cause of these issues. Make sure that the car’s system is correctly configured for internet access and that there are no connectivity restrictions in the settings.

3. Battery or Power Issues: You mentioned that the issue often occurs on colder days. If the battery or power supply to the car’s connectivity system is unstable, it could cause disruptions in connectivity, especially when the car is parked for longer periods.

If you need parts or components to fix any of these issues, I’ve had a good experience finding used auto parts through specialized platforms. These can be a cost-effective solution if any replacements are needed.

Hope you get it sorted soon!
