Correct for your Berlingo with the VIN ending 412:

05W30 (FPW9.55535/03)

Hi Juan,

Could you tell me if my Citroen C4 Space Tourer Blue Hdi flair VIN: VF73AYHZPJJ791105 is affected?
I haven't followed all of this thread but my wife had to call the AA out yesterday as the engine stopped and the AA man said it was a timing belt problem.
We had the car towed to a local garage and are waiting to hear what they say. (It was serviced on Monday and the mileage is 81,000)

Thanks

Hi guys,

Just heard this sound today from my engine.
The sound appears only when the engine is cold.

It is important to mention that the sound disappear after approx 2 minutes (I guess until all components inside of the engine are lubricated with oil)

Do you think that this is the specific sound from camshaft timing chain ?
I already get in contact with Citroen for an appointment for diagnose, but they gave me 3 weeks waiting time

Certainly needs checking out. Try and use the car as little as possible until it can be looked at.

Yes, it has the 7mm chain.

Also, be aware you have outstanding aftersales work to be carried out on a water pipe and electrical harness, so this should eb done too, ref: GZY. Work will be free from you dealer.

Hello , new to this forum.
I purchased Citroen C4 x 1.5 BlueHDI 130 horse power just last week , and presumably it should be with the new 8mm chain as I was told by Citroen , but can we check the VIN. VR7BEYHZ6RE038647
There is one more car that a friend is considering buying VF3MCYHZRJS291639 which is a Peugeot 3008 with the same engine from 2018.
@Juan Sheet I will be grateful if you can assist us.

Thank you in advance!

As I've mentioned anything prior to late 2023 will have 7mm cam chain.

So yes your C4X being new has 8mm chain and the 3008 the 7mm.
