It was just replacement with new 7mm chain and some other parts which are in set. It’s better to have new 7mm chain than old one 😃
Please let me know did you change 7mm chain in Peugeot service?

Did noise disappear after changing 7mm chain with new one how much did you pay for this?
I sent you PM

My Citroen Spacetourer 1.5 hdi is not producing any sound when is cold. After driving some kind like rubberised sound is comming from timing belt area.
Timing belt, water pump and bearings are new.

Is this connected with 7mm chain or some other engine part?

My car has a new problem today. The adblue light + engine light + service light came on and fixed at the same time. Does anyone know what the problem is?

If there's no message about 'Adblue level too low' or 'starting prohibited in **** miles / KMS', then there's another issue that needs a diagnostic to determine what the issue is.

I went to the repair shop today. They added ADblue fluid and removed the engine fault light. Now the ADBLUE light is flashing + the service light is always on. And the prompt is: Exhaust system abnormality (engine stops after 1100KM)

JUAN SHEET - can you please tell me if my Peugeot 508 1.5 diesel car will have the issue with the bad timing chain? It was registered in September 2020 but I'm not certain on the manufacture date, the VIN is VR3FBYHZJKY041515

I would really appreciate some information about this if you could help me. I registered on this forum today but for some reason I'm not able to message you directly. Any information you could provide would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance Juan.

Thanks Juan, I purchased the car only just over a month ago - via an online car sales company (not a Peugeot dealer) & I'm sure it was previously a fleet car. There's no service history at all so it's not likely I'd get anything under extended warranty from Peugeot. There aren't any issues with the car at the moment but it seems like it's possible in the future. 56,000 miles on it at the moment. Thanks again for your reply. I just thought I'd give you the VIN & thought you could check it that way as you've done before, but I've now read the other post you've referred me to. Thanks Juan.
