You don't need a licence file as your C3 has onboard WiFi, so just make sure the engine is running before the udpate is started. Use a FAT32 formatted USB and extract ONLY the files from the compressed TAR file to the USB.

My VIN is VR7BBYHZBME019053 and the app recommends me 44.07.05.22_NAC-r0 version
The current version is 42.03.31.32
Also not sure which USB to use for an upgrade, the left side is USB C, and on the right side is USB A.

I have same problem with download error in the Citroen app.
App is trying to download firmware and maps ver. 42.03.33.42_NAC-r0.
I have 2018 C4 Cactus with firmware ver. 31.08.05.86_NAC-r0 (factory one), VIN:VF70PHNPJJE552901. Could you help? Thanks!

I have the same issue as described by others above.

I bought a 2020 C5 Aircross and then downloaded the necessary firmware update and navigation update to the same stick (from a PC).

The firmware update installed correctly.

It then went on to install the navigation software - after about 30 mins I got a fail message.

I tried again - fail.

I reformatted the stick and downloaded just the nav software.

Failed again.

I selected just one map to install (the UK) - fail again.

I now have no maps on the system.

What can I do please?

Check the size of your USB drive, maps can be huge.....

The required flash drive used to be USB 3, 16GB. It is now USB 3, 32GB
When I did a map update back in Feb. I downloaded Citroen Update app 1.5.2 and used that. My Citroen App told me at the end of March that new nav update available 16.0.0-r0. so today I opened up Citroen update and started the download. It failed. Three times I tried but it failed. So I looked at the program list on my laptop and found that there were two versions of Citroen update.1.1.0 and 1.5.2 both dated 16 Feb 24. My laptop was opening the 1.1.0.
I deleted that version and opened 1.5.2 and now it's downloaded and copying into my 32Gb flash drive. The file is 18.46GB.
I will this time only select UK maps as I am not likely to venture over the channel in the near future.
