I have 2019
Citroën New C3 Aircross Flair
1.2 Puretech Flair Suv 5dr Petrol Manual 6 Spd petrol. We all know issues with timing belt and need for specific engine oil but any ideas on this model? How do u locate VIN number to be totally sure?
Think it's an OW 20 Oil?

Of course engine oil is specific to the vehicle and engine and version. You haven't mentioned what vehicle this is? Petrol / diesel what engine 1.2 EB2****, 1.5 DV5, 1.6 DV6??? Better still if you want the correct grade AND specification you'll need to provide the last 8 alpha numeric from your VIN...

Topped up oil started engine with cap off?
Silly error realised after I started car twice engine fault came on. I didn't drive it as realised after few mins I had left oil cap off by accident..tiny but came out wiped up...engine fault light still on? Anyone done this? Tips or advice?

I've just called dealer to check he just says use ow-20 oil..I asked what brand he said any as long as 0w 20 fully synthetic?? We had full timing belt change this year under warranty so do not want to get this wrong

As most people on here know there is a timing belt issue with these cars, out got replaced at start of this year mechanic mentioned to us that it needs specific engine oil does anybody know this?? We had this all done in January and engine oil lights on You are not meant to use generic Halfords oil ...

I will do thanks. As the registered owner I simply need a log of works carried out. Don't need to see the invoice as such.. but if I sell the car in a few years, yes I need to have a record of this big job surely.

Turns out they fixed it quickly, covered as expected by manufacturer due to known fault. However....an interesting point they have kept paperwork on the job of the belt replacement...as they say they chase that up with Citroen direct. Mentioned legal reasons...this just sounds odd. Surely I need pap...

Confirmed big job to fix timing belt as expected, just awaiting confirmation that customer care will cover in full. I've also confirmed I had extended warranty anyway so it's covered. But delays and awaiting ordering parts, it's going to take weeks. Should we be entitled to a courtesy car as none of...

Hi there as I understand it Citroen customer care cover costs if fsh etc is in order as it's their recognised fault. However ..one thing is it only on models between certain years with that 1.2 wetbelt? I think 2020 models fall within that period but does anyone know details
