Chris, with reference to your comments in your PM regarding preventative maintenance, just be aware that they won't do any preventative maintenance under warranty and in fact, won't initiate any Technical Service Bulletin until the symptoms actually present themselves.

It's not just the belt, as you can see there is a comprehensive list of parts that would be replaced. Here's an extract:

Went out to my car this morning and started it up with a horrible thud noise from the engine coming from left side, noise disappeared on first rev but got it booked in as it originally sound like the bottom end was dropping out

Yours has a 7mm timing chain (pictured at '3' below), and the actual build date of your vehicle is 13 December 2019, so would be one of the affected blocks despite it not being a Euro 6.3 (yours is Euro 6.2).

So very likely yes.

Not unless it has been booked in for this issue after being diagnosed with the timing issues - it has not been the subject of any recall at present.

To determine if it has had the work done, either check the reference number on the casing as described in the first post, or check with a dealer by giving them the VIN / Reg and they should be able to access any historical repairs undertaken.
