Hi, yes yours also has the potential chain issue.

1 Cylinder 1 injector supply pipe (Part No. 98 117 376 80).
1 Cylinder 1 injector supply pipe (Part No. 98 256 155 80).
4 Injector seals (Part No. 98 042 205 80).
4 Clamp fixing bolts (Part No. 98 089 827 80).
1 Set of oil separator seals (Part No. 16 381 593 80).
1 Set of vacuum pump seals (Part No. 4556 24).
4 Injector well seals (Part No. 98 173 808 80).
1 Air union seal (Part No. 98 137 583 80).
1 Diesel injector return pipe (Part No. 98 247 231 80).
1 Oil filter (Part No. 16 806 824 80).

N.B.: To optimise logistics, the parts kit available contains the camshafts, the camshaft carrier, the chain, the tensioner and an information label to be affixed in the engine compartment
Went out to my car this morning and started it up with a horrible thud noise from the engine coming from left side, noise disappeared on first rev but got it booked in as it originally sound like the bottom end was dropping out

Sounds like a ticking to me - what is this a C3 or C5 AIrcross?

Yours has a 7mm timing chain (pictured at '3' below), and the actual build date of your vehicle is 13 December 2019, so would be one of the affected blocks despite it not being a Euro 6.3 (yours is Euro 6.2).

Not unless it has been booked in for this issue after being diagnosed with the timing issues - it has not been the subject of any recall at present.

To determine if it has had the work done, either check the reference number on the casing as described in the first post, or check with a dealer by giving them the VIN / Reg and they should be able to access any historical repairs undertaken.
