Mine was working fine until what appears to have been an update has lost all internet connectivity.

I've just taken delivery of a new C3 Aircross Shine Plus. The Tom Tom traffic service was very intermittent, I found that a touchscreen update hadn't been done as part of the PDI. Long story short, after this was updated the Tom Tom traffic works 100%. Have a look to see if you have a touchscreen up...
